Foster a Dog
GRFR does not operate a physical shelter. Every dog that enters our rescue is welcomed into the home of one of our dedicated foster families.
Fosters apply with our adoption application: fosters are pre-approved adopters.
As a foster volunteer, you'll:
Provide a safe, loving temporary home.
Transport your foster to necessary veterinary appointments.
All medical expenses are covered by GRFR.
Learn about the dog's personality, habits, and needs.
Meet with potential adopters to help determine the best forever home.
Fostering is one of the most rewarding ways to make a direct impact on a dog's life.
Open your home to a golden.
Fosters apply with the adoption application. Mention in your application that you would like to foster.
