Jenny is a sweet, gentle 6-year-old Goldendoodle mix. She’s a calm, quiet girl who’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Jenny can be timid and easily startled by sudden movements, but underneath that shy exterior is a playful little personality just waiting to come out.

Her foster family has started seeing glimpses of her silly side, especially during her morning potty breaks, when she gets a case of the zoomies and forgets all about being nervous!

Jenny does wonderfully in her crate and is a very quiet, well-mannered houseguest. She’s also been learning a lot from her foster siblings, watching them play and interact with their humans, and slowly realizing that people can be trusted. She may really benefit from having a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes.

Jenny is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her the time and space she needs to build confidence at her own pace. With a little patience, lots of love, and a gentle approach, we think this sweet girl has so much personality just waiting to blossom! ❤️

Apply to adopt JennyRead requirements before you applyAdoption FAQApplying for Jenny does not guarantee placement. We match on fit.

Interested? Here is what happens next.

  1. Submit an ApplicationComplete our adoption application after reviewing the Adoption Requirements and FAQs. Please answer every question completely, as incomplete applications cannot be processed. You're welcome to indicate interest in a specific dog, but because our commitment is to the right match, requesting a particular dog does not guarantee placement.
  2. Phone Interview & Home VisitAfter your application is reviewed, a GRFR volunteer will contact you if you meet our adoption requirements. A phone interview to learn more about your family, home, lifestyle, and expectations, then a home visit to ensure your home is a safe environment for a dog. ALL household members and resident dogs/pets MUST be present during the home visit.
  3. Meet Your MatchWhen one of our foster volunteers believes a dog may be a good fit for your family, they'll contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet. If you receive a voicemail or text message from a foster, you must respond within 24 hours. If you do not respond the foster home will move on to the next approved applicant.
